One of Ibiza’s most loved superstar DJs can actually eat anything!!

A record that always reminds you of Ibiza

Energy 52, Cafe del Mar.

Your perfect breakfast would be…

I love a big strong breakfast when I’m touring, so I like to have orange juice, an omelette with spinach, mushroom, tomato, and bacon. Then some toast, with something sweet and a cappuccino!

The most unusual thing I have ever eaten…

I’m very “special” in that I really don’t like to take any risks with food, so I haven’t ever had anything very unusual. Haha.

The dish that reminds me of my childhood

Spaghetti Bolognaise.

Who taught you to cook?

I saw my father cooking a lot so I that gave me some ideas about how it’s done, but I did teach myself really. And I like to be creative.

Your favourite 3 restaurants in your home city…

Carballeira: Seafood. One of the best in the whole of Spain.

Xalet Suis: One of the oldest and much loved restaurants in my city.

Racó del Fartet: Everybody knows about this restaurant now as it’s close to Monegros, so many artists have stopped here (ask Richie).

5 other restaurants from around the world you love

Ibiza: Yemanja – HUGE MUST – just go!

Madrid: Ramses – Expensive but super cool.

Barcelona: Tickets – Nothing to say… it’s an amazing experience.

Los Angeles: Feed, Body & Soul – One of the bests organic restaurants in LA!

Singapore: Wine Connection – One of the bests Spanish restaurants in Singapore.

A DJ or musician that has surprised you with their cooking skills…what did they cook

Mmmm that’s quite difficult, but my manger is an expert! Ha ha ha Probably one of the best is Ali (Dubfire). I saw him at one of the Traktor Cookery events in Ibiza – everybody knows about his huge passion for food.

I don’t wanna talk about the BBQs of Seth & Sneak because you know how it turns out at the end!!! But I can remember also an amaaaazing lasagna from Heidi in Amsterdam.

Your guilty pleasure food. You know you shouldn’t but you always do…

I have good genetics, so I can and do eat everything!

What is your signature dish?

Super Spanish fried eggs with french fries…seems like it should be an easy dish, but actually it’s an ART!

If you could have a master-class with a celebrity chef, who’d you pick and why?

Very difficult but probably with Carme Ruscalleda!! As she is very sensitive.

Dead or alive – 3 famous people you would invite around for dinner…

This only took me a second to think:

Mozart, Freddie Mercury and Jean Michel Jarre…

A dish you have yet to master…

Nitrogen Eggs…..haha!

Your favourite pizza topping

Spicy Salami

A dish you just cannot stomach

Actually I hate two ingredients in any dish more than one dish itself. That’s green peppers and cucumbers! Yuk.

You get in from the club pissed, dive in the fridge and usually come out with…?

Boiled eggs with tuna…Super easy but one of my all time favorites!

The most expensive meal you have ever had?

In Madrid at Ramses, fortunately I didn’t have to pay but OMG…

The most disgusting thing you have ever eaten at a festival

The WORST BURGER EVER!! I couldn’t even take one bite of it.

The last time you used a cook book for a meal…

1 year ago…an special spicy dish with potatoes, eggs, curry and tomato.

My favourite restaurants on the island…

As I said earlier – Yemanja, for many years it has always been my favorite.

The best sunset spot for a cold drink…

Ses Salinas (below) or with an amazing sushi at Mambo.

Your favourite Ibiza dish

Any kind of fish at the Fish Shack!

The perfect 24 hours in Ibiza would be…

Some good breakfast with my friends, a little walk around the island, some good lunch (pasta or meat), followed by coffee and ice cream enjoying amazing conversations with great people…a bit of Es Vedrá (below)…

…(the sunset is the best), dinner (some more fish!) and some partying maybe?!
