The King Of Drum & Bass Live And Direct Cooking Up A Feast

Your perfect breakfast would be?

Two poached eggs on a bed of chopped leaves, one avocado chopped into quarters and melted cheese drizzled with Tabasco sauce on a toasted tortilla…and topped with cracked pepper layers with smoked salmon to finish.

The most unusual thing I have ever eaten…

In Texas I had alligator on a stick…

…and in Thailand I had some kind of bugs…not really me!

The dish that reminds me of my childhood…

When I used to go to family weddings I used love the curried goat but it used to be so hot, it used to burn the back outta me (if you get my meaning)…

Who taught you to cook?

My cousins Higgy and Tash showed me a few things but MC Navigator showed me how to really cook Jamaican food, otherwise I was self-taught.

Your favourite 3 restaurants in your home town Bristol?

I like my Jamaican food – so it’s got to be The Three Blackbirds…

…and I also like Japanese food, so Obento…

3 other restaurants from around the world you love..

I eat outta hotels mostly but I like Moreton Bay Bugs in Sydney…

…and I also had the best ribs in San Francisco (can’t remember the name) and also the best fish and chips in New Zealand…again sorry but can’t recall the names of these amazing restaurants!

A DJ or musician that has surprised you with their cooking skills…what did they cook

I was invited to Carl Cox’s house for a Sunday roast and we had the perfect meal, the best roast potatoes ever…(Coxy’s special potatoes below)

Your guilty pleasure food. You know you shouldn’t but you always do…

I love french fries…otherwise known as Roni fries…

What is your signature dish?

Well I like to make seasoned Sea Bream with seasoned Sea Bass on a bed of salad and couscous.

If you could have a master-class with a celebrity chef, who’d you pick and why?

I guess it would be Andre Roux…bit classy ain’t he…?

Dead or alive – 3 famous people you would invite around for dinner…

Richard Pryor, Mike Tyson and Shabba Ranks, so quite a mixture

A dish you have yet to master…

Thai green curry or any Thai food for that matter

Your favourite pizza topping

Oregano and chilies

Your biggest ever food cock up

Hmmm,  probably when I burnt some plantain in a house full off people..also timing is ever thing so cold food doesn’t really go down well when it’s supposed to be hot!

A dish you just cannot stomach…

Risotto, sticky rice…come on!!!

You get in from the club pissed, dive in the fridge and usually come out with…?

Cheese and bread

The most expensive meal you have ever had?

Chocolate steak in a London restaurant….ridiculous

The most disgusting thing you have ever eaten at a festival…

Well I’ve been to a lot of festivals and when you have some know it all who puts some kind of nuts on the fire…well it’s not good

The last time you used a cook book for a meal…

Just last week…I wanted to make a certain Dahl and had to get the measurements and ingredients just right

The best sunset spot for a cold drink…

I attended a wedding for a friend on the south of the island and it was a perfect sunset…

A record that always reminds you of Ibiza..

Hmmm I guess anything a little chilled…it’s Ibiza right?

Your favourite Ibiza dish….

Any fish dish…there is so much great fresh food on the island…

The perfect 24 hours in Ibiza would be…

To be with my future wife, getting married in perfect sunshine with all your friends and family around you…
