LoveFoodIbiza checks in with two of the best house music producers on the planet…

You have travelled all over the world, what is the most unusual food you have ever tried?
Make a habit of trying of trying pretty much anything, with the exception of Dog, Human and Cat. No real shock the most unusual thing we ate was in Tokyo, burst in your mouth Cod reproductive sacks filled with yes warm cod semen, not a very pleasant experience.

The dish that reminds you most of your childhood?
James: Fish pie – great memories and struggle to find one that’s better.

Do you cook? If so, what is your signature dish?
Ben: Yeah really enjoy cooking, started very young doing bits in the kitchen for my mum, having a big family pretty much everything revolves around the dinner table & food. My food favourite is southern Italian, so would probably be a rustic shellfish stew..

Your guilty pleasure food?
James: Nice phatt dirty burger – Burger Brothers, Brighton (below) and 11th Street Diner South Beach are two of my favourites.

Your favourite restaurants in Ibiza…
Ben: there’s obviously loads we’re yet to eat at, but the food and setting @ S’illa Des Bosc, Cala Conta is pretty hard to beat. We always east @ Casa Monolo Playa d’en Bossa, the Calamari and seafood always go down nicely.

And your favourite restaurant in the world?
James: It was a tiny little Japanese spot in Tokyo, serving ridiculous food like I’ve never tasted before. Have been trying to find the name ever since going but no luck as of yet.

If you could have a masterclass with any master chef…who would it be and why?
Ben: Rick Stein- huge fan of simple local seafood, he seems to me the master at this so I’d pick up loads of handy tips.

What countries do you love returning to, to sample their cuisine?
James: Asia, in particular Thailand, I’ll never tire of the amazing street food the variety and quality is bang on.

A dish you just cannot stomach?
Ben: Tripe, tried a few,  but yet to actually like it.

What DJ has cooked great food for you?
James: Jermaine, Roger Sanchez’s tour manager cooks an amazing BBQ, served up with Hierbas, perfect.
