Catz 'N Dogz

Ok, so of course there are a lot of super high-class restaurants in Ibiza but we wanted to mention some of our personal favourite choices. Maybe some of them are not obvious and we like them for diverse reasons, such as memories we have there with our friends or just because it was perfect weather and perfect timing….

This one is first on our list because it’s an experience and it’s the most fancy from all the restaurants. The food is really great and the ambience in the old church is really something special. Sometimes people complain about the service in the restaurant but we actually like the quirky kind of waiters with very specific sense of humor. Make sure you try the fish, as that’s the main thing in this place:  Tuna capriccio with strawberries and the special home made flamed pancakes are a must!

The location is excellent and if you are lucky enough to get a table outside or by the window, the view of the sea is amazing. A few years ago we we had a house with our friends from Dirtybird just a 5 minute drive from this beach; that’s why we were there almost every other day. Super tasty paella and fresh fish. You can combine beach with restaurant and easily spend a whole day there. The beach is very small, so depending on the time of the year it may be difficult to get a spot. But, the rest is definitely worth going to! The price is a bit above average but it’s worth it 🙂 Important tip: They really take their time there with the service so don’t count on having a “quick meal”.

It’s in the heart of Ibiza Town in a super touristy spot, but compared to all the restaurants around there it stays the most authentic. The prices are really low considering the location and it’s a perfect place to have some tapas and hangout with friends. It has a very buzzy and noisy atmosphere that reminds us of Madrid and feels very non-touristy. It’s the complete opposite of Sa Capella or Sacaleta. The service is really quick and on point. It’s hard to recommend something from the menu because everything we have tried was decent and served really quick.

Last one on the list is our restaurant after heavy partying; if you feel like you have to have something fresh and detoxing. Sadly nowadays the restaurant is mega crowded, so try to avoid regular lunch hours because you will be annoyed by the waiting time and that you order might get messed up haha. The salads are really good and they have a very big choice of freshly squeezed juices, so at the end it’s always worth the wait. Inside there is also a small deli, so if you are in a rush you can grab something healthy and run to the airport!

In the end though, for us nothing can beat some Calamares Fritos with super cold beer and chilling on the sea front…
