k  Chocolate Orange Ibiza Carob Loveballs  k

Ingredients (makes 50)

600g dates with no stones

160g sultanas

240g almonds

80g desiccated coconut

60g raw cacao powder (or good quality organic cocoa powder)

20g carob powder Zest 4 orange

To decorate

Chopped nuts

Candied orange


1. Blend the almonds and coconuts in a food processer until you have small grainy pieces. Remove from blender.

2. Add all the remaining ingredients and blend. Mix the chopped nuts until it forms a large ball.

3. Using a teaspoon, mold by hand into smooth balls and then roll in extra cocoa power and chopped nuts.

4. Chill until firm and then roll in the chopped nuts (or extra cocoa powder).
